Residential & Commercial

Concrete Raising & Levelling

Sunken driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, and other concrete slabs lifted and levelled with polyurethane foam, often in a single visit with minimal downtime. Serving London and communities across Southwestern Ontario.

Before and after concrete raising and levelling, measured with a tape measure

A sunken or uneven concrete slab doesn’t always mean starting over. Brosco Concrete raises and levels driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, steps, and other concrete slabs using polyurethane foam injected beneath the existing concrete. The expanding foam fills voids, restores support, and carefully lifts the slab back toward its proper position.

Most residential projects can be completed in a single visit with minimal disruption, and the area can often be used again the same day, making concrete raising and levelling a fast, cost-effective alternative to full replacement.

The Process

How Concrete Raising & Levelling Works

01

On-Site Assessment

We assess the settled slab and surrounding conditions to determine if it can be safely and effectively raised and levelled.

02

Small Injection Holes

Small 5/8 inch holes are drilled through the affected slab to create access points for the polyurethane foam.

03

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids, stabilize the base, and carefully lift the slab toward its proper position.

04

Patch & Cleanup

Once the slab is levelled, the injection holes are patched and the work area is cleaned up.

05

Same-Day Use

Most residential projects are completed in just a few hours, with the levelled concrete ready for use the same day.

Why It Works

Benefits of Polyurethane Levelling

5-Year Warranty

Backed by our 5-year concrete raising and levelling warranty.

Smaller Injection Holes

Uses small 5/8 inch injection points rather than the larger holes used for traditional mudjacking.

Lightweight Material

Polyurethane foam adds very little additional weight beneath the slab.

Moisture Resistant

The foam is resistant to water and moisture beneath the concrete.

Interior & Exterior Applications

Suitable for many poured concrete surfaces, including driveways, patios, walkways, garage floors, and interior slabs.

Minimal Disruption

No full tear-out, less mess, and minimal disruption to surrounding landscaping.

Fast Return to Use

Most residential projects are completed in a few hours, with the surface ready for use the same day.

Cost-Effective Alternative

Typically around half the cost of full concrete replacement when the existing slab is a good candidate for lifting.

Common Causes

Why Concrete Settles & Sinks

Polyurethane foam fills voids beneath the slab and helps restore support to the settled concrete.

FAQ

Raising & Levelling Questions, Answered

Polyurethane levelling uses lightweight expanding foam rather than a heavier cement-based slurry. The foam expands beneath the slab to fill voids, stabilize the area, and lift the concrete with smaller injection holes and a faster cure time.

In many cases, yes. Concrete raising and levelling typically costs about half as much as full replacement, while avoiding the mess, demolition, and disruption of tearing out and repouring the slab. If the existing concrete is still in good condition, lifting it can be a practical and cost-effective option.

Most residential projects are completed in just a few hours, and the levelled concrete can be used again the same day.
