Why Slabs Sink Around Sarnia
Concrete doesn’t fail because the concrete is weak. It fails because the ground under it moves. Water erodes soil out from beneath the slab, poor drainage accelerates it, freeze-thaw works it loose, and eventually a void opens up and the slab drops into it.
Polyurethane foam addresses the actual cause: it fills that void and restores support beneath the concrete. It’s impervious to moisture under the slab, resistant to freeze-thaw, and light enough that it doesn’t become the next problem.
